Béni Catering & Events
The idea of Béni Catering & Events was birthed from years of spending time in the kitchen with both of my grandmothers and learning about the finer things in life from my Mom. The name Béni was actually suggested to me by an old manager, more than 10 years ago. Béni stands for blessed in French and to call myself blessed would be an understatement. Based on what I have been through in my 33 years of life I know this to be true. When God’s hand is on your life it will completely change the way you think, act, talk and the way you interact with others. I never thought that I would be one of those, I guess, people to have a “churchy” business name but here I am…enter “Béni” Catering.

I am a 33-year-old Black woman of Caribbean descent who considers herself a culinary artist, decor expert, entrepreneur, and most certainly a survivor! I can say I truly have God’s favor. To give a little bit more detail to what I mentioned above I am an African-American woman of Caribbean descent. I live with alopecia, have beaten stage 3 breast cancer, and also have endometriosis. Through all three of these difficult ongoing health challenges, God has sustained me, healed me, provided for me, and been everything that I have needed. He has even been and provided things that I didn’t know I needed.
